Ashik Kapasi is a Tanzanian born American Citizen whose native language is Gujarati and is also fluent in English, Swahili, Hindi, and Urdu.

 

He has practiced as a freelance interpreter and translator in Houston, Texas since 2013. His experience extends from hospitals at the Houston Medical Center to the Court system in criminal and civil cases and the Attorney General’s Office.

 

Ashik is competent in translating in all the languages listed

above in a variety of specialized areas which include: Law, Medicine, Education, Business, Literature, and Economy.

 

He has experience in translating and interpreting with The Attorney General’s office, The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Attorney and inmate interpretation, and, depositions, Psychiatrist evaluating inmates, and is certified in handling medical trauma.
